Q: First things first…if someone asked you why you’re a hairstylist, how would you answer?
A: Being a hairstylist is such a creative and exciting career. I love to be inspired and i think there is so much creativity and inspiration that comes with the job. Doing hair has always come naturally to me and that is why I chose to pursue being a hairstylist. I love that I can visualise a style or color and watch it come to life on my clients! It can be such a rewarding an loving community of people and I love to see others grow and be who they are because of what we do!

Q: Where do you find your inspiration? How do you keep it fresh?
A:  I love finding inspiration through pinterest and instagram, but I also love to find inspiration through the things I enjoy doing and the type of lifestyle I aspire to live. I love to keep things simple but always on trend and fresh.

Q: Besides the art of hairstyling, what else do you like to do in your freetime?
You can expect to find me in the mountains, skiing or hiking most days! I also love to spend time at the beach (I mean who doesn’t, right?) but the water is my second home. I grew up sailing and continue to do so any chance I get, as well as i love to scuba dive and explore what's underneath the surface of the ocean! When not outside you will most likely find me at the mall!

Q: Tell us the funniest hair story you have had in your experience.
A:  One day I was assisting in the salon and I was asked to shampoo a client, so I took her over to the shampoo bowl and everything was going so smoothly. I turned around to grab some conditioner and my bracelets got caught on the nosel to turn the water on and I soaked the client! I was so embarrassed. Lesson learned don't wear bracelets to work!
