Q: First things first…if someone asked you why you’re a hairstylist, how would you answer?
A: It has always been a part of my life. I love being creative. Talking to people and learning about their lifestyles and how I am able to make them happy is one of the biggest reasons I do hair. It’s always a fun challenge! The smile on someone’s face when they see their hair is why I love doing my job!

Q: Where do you find your inspiration? How do you keep it fresh?
A:  I find inspiration from everything. People, television, magazines, etc. I love taking classes and going to as much education as possible.

Q: Animal person? Yes/No? Explain!
A:  Yes! My dog, Benji, is my world. I spend every minute I’m not at work with him. I was never able to have a dog growing up, so when I got my first place that was the first thing I did. The way your pet connects with you is unlike any love you have ever felt. He is my rock!

Q: Besides the art of hairstyling, what else do you like to do in your freetime?
A:  I am a painter. Painting is meditation for me. It keeps my world calm and allows me to relax.

Q: Tell us the funniest hair story you have had in your experience.
A:  I used to have this male client that I saw every other Wednesday. He always came to the salon between 2 and 4. So one day my co-workers and I were coloring each other’s hair. I had bright red/Orange color on my hair with a cap over it. He decided to come in early that day without warning. So I cut his hair with a cap of red/Orange color on my head. He found it very humorous that I looked like a clown.
